CALL "NOT ONE LESS "

Promoters:
Observatory racist Pigneto / Prenestino, Association Rights Project, Asinitas non-profit organization. The current
citizenship law in force in Italy as well as being among the most restrictive in Europe reveals its discriminatory aspect in particular in regard to foreign children born in Italy. After being born and raised here like our children must wait until the age of eighteen years of age and perform strenuous and endless bureaucratic delays for legal recognition of their natural right to live, grow, and imagine the their future in the place where they were born.
A recent disposal of the Ministry of Education provides a ceiling rate of 30% for pupils of foreign origin in the classroom of any kind and level from kindergarten to high school, without specifying whether the measure should cover babies born in Italy on a par with those who arrived with his family for a short time, without specifying the emphasis on comprehension and specific language of each, without value in any way the process carried out so far from schools, training of teachers to teach Italian as a second language in the structuring of appropriate educational courses in hospitality projects to field effective for pupils and their families.
around the theme of acceptance and integration of foreigners there is a flurry of initiatives and successful paths in schools all over Italy, which should be model to other areas of society. One thing the Italian school has always been able to do and we are recognized for excellence throughout Europe as a primary school and above all of our childhood, embracing differences.
After thousands and thousands of illiterate literate, after integrating all different abilities within the school, any disability, Italian teachers, and teachers were already responding successfully to the social changes brought by recent immigration, with the fatigue typical of those who can be placed on a new dimension and therefore experimental.
The Italian school has shown how to respond to changes in society and its history demonstrates. Resources are necessary to enable the school to address the social complexities and grow in quality, not class model built at a table mirror society model that does not exist. We want to educate children and teenagers to live with the presence and ability to the world around them. What should we do with children who reside in neighborhoods with high incidence of foreign nationals, replace stopper eyes and ears every three dark-skinned people they encounter? We believe that they themselves will be better prepared to face the world tomorrow.
schools surrounded by neighborhoods with high concentration of migration should be supported as pioneer schools, open track testing and teaching should be recognized and supported by their institution the tremendous work of social mediation that take place in the territories. With the school autonomy
families have the right to enroll their children in school as they see fit, create barriers based on skin color or the sound of a surname is discriminatory, racist and anti-constitutional.
Not recognizing the children born here Italian citizenship, restricting access in our schools we are staining the hateful discrimination responsibility to create a birth in the future adults of our society and instill in all children, both Italian and non-racism Thin with which it is desirable to grow.

ask our government:

- CITIZENSHIP FOR CHILDREN OF FOREIGN BORN IN ITALY
- ABOLITION OF ANY REFERENCE TO A ROOF FOR THE PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS 'FOREIGN ORIGIN IN CLASS
- SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLS "frontier" for its commitment to experimental teaching / EDUCATION AND THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIATION TO CARRY
